Working from my home studio, I create pieces of many sizes for residential and commercial applications.

Some of my paintings are of a more realistic style while others fall toward the fantasy side. I love painting flowers and exotic birds, landscapes, all things from nature and from my dreams.

For me, art is a critical elelment to the quality of life.

The world of art and vibrant colors has fascinated me since childhood. My art career began when I picked up my first crayon. Oil and acrylic paint seem easiest for me to manipulate, thusly, my preferred mediums . Painting is a a never-ending learning process for me, as well as, a magical necessity. My inspirations come from the beautiful and fascinating world around me.

During my 60 fun filled years of painting, I've been privileged to study with several renowned painters such as: Gary & Kathwren Jenkins, Bob Ross, Heiner Hertling & Jerry Yarnell.

My paintings are created from acrylic or oil colors, oil being my preference. Working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

My Inspiration

Bright vibrant colors coming from nature directly influence my work. I love painting fluffy clouds, dew drops, all things shiny and all things dull.
